BIBLE STUDIES
There are a variety of Bible Studies at Christ Lutheran Church that are held at different times and locations. 

Lutheran Men in Mission Bible Study meets for continental breakfast, fellowship, and Bible study every Saturday morning from 8:00 - 9:30 AM during the school year. All men are welcome to join at any time.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study is open to all. It meets weekly at 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday mornings during the school year.  It is led by one of the pastors.

Women's Circles meet regularly for Bible study and fellowship, and occasionally help with service projects or WELCA events.
• Lydia Circle meets at 7:00 PM on the fourth Monday of the month.
• Ruth Circle meets at 9:30 AM on the third Friday of the month.
• Grace Circle meets at 7:00 PM on the second Thursday of the month.
• Deborah Circle meets at 7:00 PM on the fourth Tuesday of the month at members' homes.
• Elizabeth Circle meets at 7:00 PM on the third Thursday of the month at members' homes.
• Phoebe Circle meets 9:00 - 11:00 AM on the third Saturday of the month.

BOOK CLUBS
Three different book clubs meet monthly in the library at Christ Lutheran. The groups choose one book per month to read and discuss.  Meeting times:
    ♦ Third Thursday of the month at 10:00 AM
    ♦ Fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM
    ♦ Fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM



CHRIST’S QUILTERS
This group sews quilts for Lutheran World Relief and other local agencies. They meet at the church from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM every third Monday and Tuesday of the month. 

CONNECTORS
Connectors are trained volunteers who make monthly visits to CLC members who are unable to attend services regularly.  The Connectors give members updates and news about Christ Lutheran, and can provide home communion if desired.  If you would like a visit or if you would like to become a Connector, contact the church office.     Top of page 
DINNER CLUB
Dinner Club is for all adults who enjoy fellowship and food.  They get together at a different restaurant around the Metropolitan area about once a month. Dates, times and locations are listed in the weekly announcements, along with a sign-up sheet and usually a menu,which is posted at the Welcome Center in the Gathering Space. 
DRAMAS
Dramas are presented several times a year, with members of the congregation taking part in all aspects of the production. The dramas illustrate faith applications in modern day situations. The Christmas Drama is held during worship services the weekend before Christmas. Lenten Dramas are presented during the Lenten season as the main portion of the Wednesday evening worship services. GRANDFAMILIES SUPPORT GROUP
This support group is for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. They meet on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM. The group is facilitated by Lutheran Social Services. 
LIBRARY MINISTRY
Christ Lutheran’s library has great resources for all ages. It is self-service for borrowing materials. You can find non-fiction on a variety of Christian topics, fiction, audio tapes, family videos and DVDs, Biblical reference materials, and Bible studies. DVD's of the worship services and CD's of the sermons are also available.  
MUSIC

MASS CHOIR
St. Augustine said, "He who sings, prays twice."  Come experience prayer, fellowship, and inspired song with the Mass Choir.  The Mass Choir leads the 8:00 and 9:15 AM. Sunday worship services several times a month during the school year. They also sing for special services during the church year, such as Christmas and Easter. Rehearsals are at 7:30 PM on Wednesday evenings, and occasionally on Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM. CONTEMPORARY CHOIR
The Contemporary Choir sings new Christian music in a high-energy, upbeat style accompanied by guitars, drums, and electronic keyboards. They lead the 10:45 AM Sunday worship service. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings throughout the year. The band rehearses at 6:00 PM and the choir is added at 7:00 PM.  Ability to read music is helpful. EVENING BELLS
The bells play once a month at Sunday worship services and occasionally at other special services during the church year. Rehearsals are at 6:30 PM on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Five octaves of hand bells are used, and some musical ability in note reading and rhythms is required. PRAYER SHAWL GROUP
The making of a prayer shawl is a spiritual practice which embodies prayers for the receiver. Prayer shawls are knitted or crocheted and offered to persons who are shut-ins, hospitalized, homeless, or in hospice care. The group meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM.  For prayer shawl knitting and crocheting instructions, visit

SENIOR KIDS
This group of seniors enjoys Christian fellowship during fun social events. Every second Wednesday of the month there is a noon potluck at the church. Once a month, the Senior Kids go on a low-cost, half-day outing to places such as plays, museums, concerts, and gardens. Dates, times and locations are listed in the weekly announcements, along with a sign-up sheet which is posted at the Welcome Center in the Gathering Space.
